Boeing has broken its record for annual commercial aircraft deliveries for the second time in a row.
The company delivered 723 aircraft in 2014. It also took 1,432 net orders, worth $232.7bn at list prices, breaking the previous all-time high set in 2007.
Boeing’s unfilled commercial orders stood at 5,789 at the end of the year – also a company record.
Of the 1,432 orders Boeing took in 2014, the 737NG and 737 MAX led the way with 1,104 orders, followed by the 777 and 777X with 283 orders.
