Boeing Commercial Q4 Profits Up 19%

In releasing its full year results, the US OEM also confirmed that the revenues from its commercial aircraft division increased 15 per cent in Q4 in comparison to 2013 and reach $16.8bn.

Group revenues reached a record $90.8bn for the year (up from $86.6bn in 2013) following its highest ever number of deliveries.

On the back of 2014’s positive results Boeing has forecast a 5.2 per cent increase in revenues for 2015.

The 2014 results also revealed that the deferred production cost balance for the 787 rose to $26.1bn.
