Overall net profit at Boeing fell by 33 per cent in Q2 2015 to $1.1bn but revenues from commercial aircraft deliveries rose 18 per cent to $16.9bn.
A total of 197 commercial aircraft were delivered in Q2, an increase of nine per cent compared to the 181 aircraft Boeing delivered in the same period last year. At the half-year stage, commercial deliveries stand at 381 aircraft.
Boeing received 171 net orders during the quarter, which included 116 bookings for the 737 MAX.
The company said it has also maintained its annual revenue forecast of between $94.5bn and $96.5bn.
