Boeing Business Jets (BBJs) are proving popular in China with five entering service in the last year. Two new aircraft entered service in the country while the remaining three were pre-owned. The company expects demands for ultra-long range business jets to grow in the coming years. Three BBJs were delivered to completion centres last year and among the aircraft was the first BBJ2 delivered to China. Boeing’s order book for China increased by two in the same period. Steve Taylor, president, BBJ, also announced that the programme had booked 216 sales and 195 deliveries since 1996.
