Jet maker Bombardier has named David Coleal as the new president of business aircraft.
Coleal, who replaces Éric Martel, will take up his new role on June 15, 2015.
The new position marks Coleal’s return to Bombardier after previously serving as VP and general manager of the Learjet programme.
Most recently Coleal worked for Spirit Aerosystems where he was EVP and general manager.
Last week Bombardier announced it was cutting an estimated 1,750 jobs across three sites and reducing the production rate for its Global 5000 and Global 6000 business jets as a result of "softening" market demand.
