Bombardier Q400 Gains Brazilian Approval

Bombardier’s Q400 has been granted certification by the National Civil Aviation Agency of Brazil (ANAC) to operate in the country.

The certificate for the 86-seat aircraft was presented to the Canadian OEM in a ceremony held at ANAC’s offices in São José dos Campos.

Alex Glock, Bombardier’s regional vice-president of sales for Latin America and the Caribbean, said: “Expanding our commercial aircraft presence in the Latin American market is key to our global expansion strategy and obtaining the Q400 aircraft's type certification marks an important step in placing aircraft in the region.”
