China's newest low-cost airline, 9 Air, has committed to buying 50 737s from the manufacturer. The order includes 737 NGs and 737 MAX aircraft. Based in Guangzhou, 9 Air is a subsidiary of Juneyao Airlines. It plans to launch services later this year; an exact date is not yet set.
