CSeries Progresses Towards 2016 EIS

Bombardier’s new CS100 aircraft should enter service with Swiss in “the first half of 2016” according to Bombardier president Fred Cromer.

<p>Bombardier’s new CS100 aircraft should enter service with Swiss in “the first half of 2016” according to Bombardier president Fred Cromer.<p>After completing 80 per cent of its required certification tests the CSeries has accumulated more than 2,250 flight hours, and is currently undergoing noise performance testing, while passenger cabin testing has also been done.<p>Certification should be achieved later this year.</p>
