EASA Certifies Challenger 350

Bombardier’s Challenger 350 has been awarded full type certification by EASA

Bombardier’s Challenger 350 has been awarded full type certification by EASA, providing the green light for European customers to begin receiving the new aircraft.

The nine-seat business jet is powered by two Honeywell HTF7350 engines, each producing 7,323lb of thrust, and has been fitted with canted winglets enabling it to operate at a higher cruising altitude and offer a greater range than the Challenger 300, which entered into service in 2004.

The Challenger 350 is also fitted with more advanced avionics, which include dual inertial reference systems, a paperless ready cockpit and a more sophisticated weather radar.

The Challenger 350 received certification in Canada and the US in June.
