Eirtech Aviation has expanded its services by launching a new composites arm which will offer repair, training and manufacture of composite components.

The Shannon-headquartered firm said the move into composites will affirm its position in the marketplace.

The new division will be overseen by Paul Kennedy, who said Eirtech is in the process of developing its current Part 145 repair approval to include the provision of AOG services, while also creating a range of composite materials and processes training products.

The composite offering adds to Eirtech’s existing services which include engineering, production, materials, CAMO and technical facilities, where Eirtech supports aircraft redeliveries and record reviews.
