Demand for 70-130 seat aircraft in China will see 1,020 new jets delivered to the country by 2034, according to the latest predictions from Embraer.

In publishing its 20-year Market Outlook yesterday (September 16), the Brazilian aircraft maker said up to June 30, it had logged 167 firm orders for commercial aircraft from customers in China, of which 130 have been delivered.

Paulo Cesar Silva, president and CEO of Embraer Commercial Aviation, said: “The aviation industry in China will continue to be robust in the foreseeable future. We believe China’s aviation industry will keep its momentum during the next 20 years and become the largest single-country market in the world.”
