F&E Aircraft Maintenance (FEAM) has become the first US MRO to be granted approval by the Japan Civil Aeronautics Bureau (JCAB) to perform line maintenance and return to service on Japanese-registered aircraft.

The JCAB approval allows FEAM, based in Miami, to maintain and release 747-400F and 747-8 aircraft operated by Japanese airlines.

It adds to the certification FEAM already holds in the US, Korea, Singapore, Bermuda and the European Union.
