FedEx Orders 50 767 Freighters

FedEx Express has signed an agreement with Boeing for 50 767F aircraft with an option for a further 50 worth nearly $20bn at current list prices.

FedEx Express has signed an agreement with Boeing for 50 767F aircraft with an option for a further 50 worth nearly $20bn at current list prices.

In a statement released on Tuesday (July 21), FedEx said deliveries of the aircraft would begin in 2018 through to 2023.

Including the latest deal, FedEx now has 106 767s on order.

FedEx president and CEO David Bronczek said the aircraft order will help the cargo carrier to reduce structural costs, improve fuel efficiency and enhance the reliability of its global network.
