In the OEM’s seventh annual Current Aircraft Finance Market Outlook, it forecasts the industry’s overall financing requirements over the next five years and concludes that buyers will benefit from increased competition among lenders with interest rates at a historic low.

Boeing expects aircraft deliveries to be worth $124bn next year, with funding expected to be balanced among cash, commercial bank debt and capital markets.
