GE and COMAC continue training collaboration

GE Aviation and Chinese manufacturer COMAC have announced the start of the second phase of their “global civil aviation talent programme” (GCAT) which was launched in 2013 and aims to develop aviation engineering skills in China.

GE Aviation and Chinese manufacturer COMAC have announced the start of the second phase of their “global civil aviation talent programme” (GCAT) which was launched in 2013 and aims to develop aviation engineering skills in China.

Confirmed at a ceremony in Beijing marking the graduation of the programme’s first wave of 12 graduates, the second phase of the GCAT programme will offer a two-year leadership and technical training course for 16 employees from COMAC, GE and Aviage Systems (GE’s joint venture with AVIC).
