IndiGo Firms Up Order For 250 A320s

Indian low-cost carrier (LCC) IndiGo has finalised its order for 250 A320neos from Airbus worth $26.5bn at current list prices.

Indian low-cost carrier (LCC) IndiGo has finalised its order for 250 A320neos from Airbus worth $26.5bn at current list prices.

The deal, signed by the two parties on Saturday (August 15), is Airbus’ biggest ever order and now takes the total number of A320s on order from IndiGo to 530.

Aditya Ghosh, president of Gurgaon-based IndiGo said: “The additional fuel efficient A320neo aircraft will enable us to continue to bring our low fares and courteous, hassle free service to more customers and markets and will create more job opportunities and growth.”
