JTA Finalises 737 Order

Japan Transocean Air (JTA) and Boeing have completed negotiations on a $1.1bn deal that will see the airline take delivery of a dozen 737-800 aircraft from 2016. The narrowbodies will be fitted with CFM56-7 engines and Boeing's performance improvement package, which improves fuel efficiency by 2%. The final agreement also gives JTA the option to switch the order to 737 MAX aircraft.
