Kaman Aerosystems has signed an agreement to manufacture and kit new components and assemblies for the 737MAX aircraft landing gear electrical and fluid systems produced by Zodiac Interconnect Americas.

The new part numbers, specific to the 737MAX applications, will be added to the existing Kaman and Zodiac memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed by the parties last year.

2015's 737MAX agreement expanded on an existing partnership between the firms, with Kaman producing kits and assemblies for Zodiac products used on the 737NG landing gear.

Following the expanded MoU, work will be carried out at Kaman’s facilities in Chihuahua, Mexico and Jacksonville, Florida before being delivered to Zodiac’s plants in Chihuahua and Santa Rosa, California.
