The number of regional flights powered by CF34 engines continues to grow, with an average rise of six percent year-on-year during the past 10 years.

The number of regional flights powered by CF34 engines continues to grow, with an average rise of six percent year-on-year during the past 10 years.

Since 2004, passenger flights powered by CF34 engines have increased to more than 11,400 flights per day worldwide in 2013 and more than four million flights each year.

This growth in the regional market has been replicated in the order books with GE receiving more than 640 CF34 engines orders in the past 18 months.

CF34 engines are currently in service with 120 operators in more than 60 countries and have accumulated more than 108 million flight hours on Bombardier CRJ and Embraer E-Jet aircraft.
