MRJ Gains Flight Approval

Mitsubishi Aircraft has gained flight approval from the Japanese Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism for the Mitsubishi Regional Jet (MRJ).

Mitsubishi Aircraft has gained flight approval from the Japanese Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism for the Mitsubishi Regional Jet (MRJ).

Having now cleared the last regulatory hurdle, Mitsubishi Aircraft said it will now carry out high-speed taxiing tests and evaluations in preparation for the MRJ’s maiden flight, which is scheduled to take place during the week of November 9.

First delivery of the MRJ is scheduled for the second quarter of 2017 to Japanese carrier All Nippon Airways.
