MRO and engineering provider Nordam has signed a contract with Pratt & Whitney Canada to design, engineer and manufacture the inlet, nacelle and thrust reverser on the PurePower PW814GA and PW815GA engines.

The PW800 family of Pratt’s geared turbofan has been designed for use on business jets and the PW814GA and PW815GA will power Gulfstream’s newly announcedG500 and G600 aircraft. Nordam will design and make the components at its Tulsa, Oklahoma facility.

“This integrated powerplant system has the potential to span across other large‐cabin, long range business jets,” said Nordam CEO Meredith Siegfried.
