French parts trading and logistics specialist OEMServices has signed an agreement to provide airline AOG support for Orolia’s Kannad brand emergency locator transmitters (ELTs).
Under the terms of the contract, OEMServices will base its AOG services using Kannad ELTs at four of its primary service centers at Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport, Dubai International Airport, Singapore Changi Airport and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
The company has been an Orolia distributor since 2015 and began providing ELT support in January of this year, with services including 24/7 customer support and standard exchanges when required.
Christian Belleux, aviation product line director at Orolia, said: “AOG support is all about eliminating downtime for our customers, so maintaining strategic supplies of our Kannad products at these four OEMServices service centers greatly enhances the level of service.”
Orolia, which provides both fixed and portable Kannad ELTs to 30 aircraft manufacturers, is also bringing an emergency locator transmitter distress-tracking system that issues alerts in distress situations to market for 2019.
