Philippine Airlines has finalised its order for six A350-900 aircraft with another six options.

Originally signed as a memorandum of understanding at the Singapore Airshow in February, the order will see the widebody aircraft enter into the flag carrier’s fleet from 2018.

The airline said it will operate the aircraft on non-stop flights to the US, as well as on services to new destinations in Europe.

Jaime Bautista, president and COO of Philippine Airlines said that following the completion of the order, the carrier is now deciding on the aircraft’s final layout.
