Profits To Rise From 2018 Says MTU

German engine manufacturer MTU Aero Engines has forecast its profit will begin to rise faster than its revenues from 2018 as a result of increased demand for spare part sales and maintenance services.

German engine manufacturer MTU Aero Engines has forecast its profit will begin to rise faster than its revenues from 2018 as a result of increased demand for spare part sales and maintenance services.

At its annual investor day in London on Wednesday (November 25), the firm said it also expects to see an increase in revenues from production of engine components for new aircraft such as Airbus’ A320neo, which is scheduled for a production increase from next year.

For 2015, MTU said it expects revenues of around € 4.6bn ($4.8bn) in 2015 and adjusted earnings before interest and tax of €430m ($456m).
