P&W Streamlines V2500 Assembly Line

Pratt & Whitney (P&W) says it has concluded the second phase of an assembly-floor transformation project at its Middletown, Connecticut, facility which marked the completion of a streamlined V2500 engine assembly line. The project is intended to prepare the facility for a ramp up in production of its portion of ‘PurePower’ PW1100G-JM engines, which will power the Airbus A320neo family, and increase capacity for the F135 engine powering the F-35 Lightning II for the US Military.
