Saab to supply A330neo composite components

The aerostructures division of Saab has signed a contract with Airbus to provide composite elements for the forthcoming A330neo programme.

The aerostructures division of Saab has signed a contract with Airbus to provide composite elements for the forthcoming A330neo programme.

Under the terms of the agreement, Saab’s first for the A330neo, the OEM will manufacture parts for the aircraft’s trailing edge.

The contract expands Saab’s existing collaborations with Airbus, with the firm supplying flap support structures and fairings for the A350, and leading-edge components for the A380.
