SWISS Expands 777 Order

Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) has placed an order for three additional 777-300ER aircraft, following its order for six of the widebodies in 2013.

Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) has placed an order for three additional 777-300ER aircraft, following its order for six of the widebodies in 2013.

The new deal, which forms part of SWISS’s plans to renew its long-haul fleet from 2016, is worth $990m.

Currently SWISS operates a fleet of A330 and A340 aircraft on its long-haul routes.
