Thales To Provide Avionics For Juneyao’s A320 Fleet

Thales has signed a contract with Chinese regional carrier Juneyao Airlines to provide the avionics suite for its new A320 family fleet.

Thales has signed a contract with Chinese regional carrier Juneyao Airlines to provide the avionics suite for its new A320 family fleet.

Under the terms of the contract, Thales will initially equip 17 of the aircraft with its Flight Management System (FMS), alongside the THALES/ACSS T3CAS surveillance platform.

The new fleet will also feature the Low Range Radio Altimeter (LRRA) and Emergency Location Transmitters (ELT).

Daniel Malka, vice-president and general manager of Thales Avionics Services Worldwide, said China remains one of the firm’s most important growth markets.
