AJW, British Airways Engineering To Support Azerbaijan

A J Walter Aviation (AJW) and British Airways Engineering have partnered to provide power-by-the-hour component support for Azerbaijan Airlines’ new fleet of 787 aircraft, starting flight operations in 2014.

A J Walter Aviation (AJW) and British Airways Engineering have partnered to provide power-by-the-hour component support for Azerbaijan Airlines’ new fleet of 787 aircraft, starting flight operations in 2014.

The new agreement will see AJW and British Airways Engineering use their combined experience of MRO and component services to provide component supply, inventory management and repair services to the airline. In addition to power-by-the-hour support the carrier will have access to 787 inventory and support options such as line and phased maintenance, flight crew and technical training, MRO IT solutions and component pooling.
