South American airline group Amaszonas has signed up for Seabury Solutions’ Alkym software designed for airline technical operations.
The Bolivia-based carrier, which is also parent company to airlines in Paraguay and Uruguay, underwent the go-live phase of the software installation in June and July.
Amaszonas Líneas Aéreas group president Sergio Urioste said: “The requirement to create order and organize the management and control of the group inventory combined with the maintenance planning and control drove the initial needs for a new MRO IT solution.”
Urioste added that following an evaluation process, it chose Alkym due to its “application functionalities” along with Seabury’s technical expertise.
Seabury said the latest deal takes its global aviation user base to more than 80 customers.
