FlightSafety And NAC Launch Training Centre

FlightSafety International has announced that it will use National Airway Corporation’s (NAC) Johnannesburg facility as a FlightSafety maintenance training centre, providing training for Pratt & Whitney Canada engines in South Africa. NAC will now offer technicians both classroom and technology-based training, as well as courseware and ‘Matrix’ training equipment that includes a ‘Graphical FlightDeck’ simulator, desktop simulator, training engines, and specialty tools – all provided by FlightSafety. The agreement will initially offer line and bass courses for maintenance training on the PT6A and PW100 series engines. NAC instructors will be trained and qualified by FlightSafety.
