Fly Jamaica Airways has signed a contract with MRO software provider TRAX for its maintenance and engineering programme to manage its fleet.

Fly Jamaica will implement the latest version of the software, which TRAX said will assist the carrier with material management, finance, technical records and reliability.

Fly Jamaica signing up for the software also means it will now have aircraft, inventory and maintenance activity information integrated into one single system.

Jose Almeida, president and CEO of TRAX, said: “Our goal is to provide Fly Jamaica Airways with an exceptional maintenance and engineering solution and we are confident that TRAX will help improve the new airline's overall operations."
