Gogo Broadens Air Canada Connectivity Partnership

Inflight wi-fi connectivity specialist Gogo has expanded its partnership with Air Canada to include the installation of 2Ku connectivity technology on the carrier’s international fleet.

Inflight wi-fi connectivity specialist Gogo has expanded its partnership with Air Canada to include the installation of 2Ku connectivity technology on the carrier’s international fleet.

Under the new agreement, the Gogo services will be installed on the airline’s widebody aircraft, starting with the 777 in autumn 2016 before extending to other aircraft types including the 787.

Gogo's president and CEO Michael Small said: “This system design will enable Air Canada to continue to deliver industry leading connectivity to its passengers for the foreseeable future.”
