Hi Fly Takes Airbus A330neo

Hi Fly becomes the first A330neo wet-lease operator as it takes delivery of the aircraft type from Air Lease Corporation.

Portuguese wet-lease specialist Hi Fly has taken delivery of a new Airbus A330-900neo on lease from U.S. lessor Air Lease Corporation.

The Rolls-Royce Trent 7000-powered A330 is configured with 371 seats in a two class layout, featuring 18 lie-flat business class seats and 353 economy class seats.

All seats are equipped with the latest generation inflight entertainment system from Zodiac, Rave IFE Generation 3. Mood lighting is also available throughout the aircraft.

Hi Fly is becoming the first A330neo wet-lease operator and plans to further expand its long haul wet-lease and charter operations worldwide.

Hi Fly operates an all Airbus fleet of 20 aircraft including four A320 family aircraft, 15 A330/A340s and one A380.

Hi Fly provides aircraft on lease for short notice airline operations, with crew, maintenance and third-party insurance provided in a service-ready package.

Hi Fly is also the first—and so far only—operator which offers one Airbus A380 for wet-lease.

Besides TAP Portugal, Hi Fly became the second A330neo operator in Europe.
