Africa's New LCC Takes To The Sky

Start-up African airline, Jambojet, has launched its services with a flight from Jomo Kenyatta International airport to Kisumu. However, two later flights to Mombasa were delayed due to "teething problems", its chairman Avisi Makatiani told local press. The new low-cost airline, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kenya Airways, will also fly to Nairobi and Eldoret using a fleet of three 737-300s.
