AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC) has taken delivery of a new 747-8 Freighter, its fifth aircraft of that type. The company, which is part of Volga-Dnepr Group and Russia's largest cargo airline, will use the aircraft on its existing route network covering Europe, Asia and the US via its hub in Moscow. "AirBridgeCargo is a valued customer that has built a very successful cargo business using 747 Freighters," said Marty Bentrott, VP of sales for Middle East, Russia and Central Asia, Boeing Commercial Airplanes. "We are confident ABC will maintain its impressive rate of growth as its fleet expands." ABC's fleet currently consists of 12 747s, three 747-400 freighters and five 747-8 freighters.
