Leasing company AWAS has recently delivered two aircraft, one each to customers Airblue and Aerolíneas Argentinas. Airblue, based in Pakistan, received a second new A320 aircraft. The aircraft comes from AWAS' new order pipeline, and includes factory-fitted end-of-wing Sharklets. Airblue is using the aircraft to increase its fleet size. It currently flies domestically to Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, as well as international services to Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Istanbul, Manchester, Muscat and Sharjah. Aerolíneas Argentinas, the flag carrier of Argentina, took delivery of a new 737-800. The aircraft is part of AWAS' orders. It is the third 737-800 that the lessor has placed with Aerolíneas.
