CheapAir Accepts More Digital Currencies

US-based online travel agency CheapAir now accepts Litecoin and Dogecoin digital “cryptocurrencies” as payment. The agency was the first in the US to begin taking the better known Bitcoin as a form of payment in November 2013 and has since made more than $1.5m in Bitcoin sales. CheapAir customer can now book flights using Litecoin, Dogecoin or Bitcoin and the agency has created a dedicated support team for users paying with digital currencies. Lativian carrier AirBaltic became the first airline to accept Bitcoin payments in July.
