China’s Airlines Uunite To Provide Cross-Strait Connections

Four Chinese carriers have joined forces to offer greater connectivity across mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. China Southern Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, Xiamen Airlines and China Airlines – all of which are members of the SkyTeam alliance, have united under the ‘Greater China Connection’ codeshare deal. The four airlines will develop new products and marketing strategies targeting cross-strait traffic, as well as expanding frequent flyer privileges. The deal covers 41 airports and more than 270 cross-strait flights each week.
