End Night Flight Quotas And Cancel Third Runway, Says Heathrow Hub

Heathrow Hub’s second submission to the Airports Commission calls for an end to night flight quotas and for the planned third runway to be cancelled. Consultations have revealed that the key issues for airport expansion in the South East are noise, surface access, cost and location. Heathrow Hub, an independent proposal for Heathrow’s expansion, is the brainchild of economist Mark Bostock and former Concorde captain William ‘Jock’ Lowe. Their latest report envisages an end to flights quotas after 4.30 am and before 6 am through expanded capacity later in the morning and a new national rail connection to improve surface access.
