Fastjet And Fly540 Choose Talks Over Court

Fastjet has agreed to stop legal proceedings with Fly540, the Kenya-based airline it bought last year.

Fly540 had claimed that Fastjet had failed to clear about $4m of Fly540 debt as part of its purchase, but the two parties have now agreed “to stop legal proceedings in order that mutually beneficial and constructive resolutions are discussed and implemented”. Don Smith remains CEO of the Fly 540 business, which operates in Kenya under the Fastjet brand.
