Fastjet To Commence International Operations On Friday

African low-cost airline Fastjet says it will commence international flight operations on Friday (October 18). The airline's first international flight, from Dar es Salaam's Julius Nyerere International Airport in Tanzania to Johannesburg's O.R. Tambo International Airport in South Africa, is scheduled to depart at 0915 on Friday morning and will arrive in South Africa at 1145, local time. Fastjet will operate flights between the two cities three times a week, but said it would increase frequency if demand dictated it.
