Finnair Set To Receive 19 A350s

Finnair has ordered eight more A350-900s, firming up options it signed in 2007. The aircraft add to an order for 11 A350-900s it agreed at the time. The first of these are due to be delivered in autumn 2015, when Finnair should become the first European airline to operate the aircraft. Last year it agreed to sell and lease back its first two A350s from GECAS, and has said it is evaluating other financing options for later deliveries. Finnair currently operates 30 A320s and 15 A330s/A340s.
