Flydubai Converts Dubai Airshow Commitment


Flydubai has ordered 75 737 MAX 8s and 11 737-800s NGs, converting a commitment signed at the 2013 Dubai Airshow. The contract is valued at $8.8bn at list prices. The airline additionally retains purchase rights for 25 more 737 MAXs. Ghaith Al Ghaith, CEO of flydubai, said the order signified “the maturing of the airline” and the strength of its business model, noting that it would also support flydubai's “ambitious growth”.
