Greenland Flights To Start From June

Greenland Express Air intends to begin flights between Greenland, Iceland and Denmark from June 2 following the agreement of three-year wet lease for a Fokker 100 aircraft with 100 seats. Greenland Express describes itself as a ‘virtual airline’, which means that it handles all commercial functions, such as sales and marketing, while a third party operates the aircraft, provides crew and deals with maintenance. In this case that party is Dutch air charter provider Denim Air, the lessor of the Fokker 100. Return fares between Greenland and Denmark begin at €499 ($690).
