Nippon Cargo Airlines will be covered by multiple services from the Hong Kong-based company.

HAECO ITM has agreed with Nippon Cargo Airlines to provide inventory technical management for the Boeing 747-8 freighters fleet.

The agreement includes component inventory access, component exchange, component repair management, component engineering and AOG support at guaranteed service level to ensure NCA’s component reliability and operational efficiency.

Daniel Stromski, executive general manager, HAECO ITM, said: “This long-term agreement provides a tailored component support program for them. It demonstrates HAECO ITM’s ability to serve the Japanese market and showcases how we can enable cargo operators to meet their unique requirements.”

Meanwhile, Kiyoji Matsuda, senior vice president engineering and maintenance at NCA, said the support program strengthens its strategic procurement of Boeing 747-8F rotable parts.

Nippon Cargo Airlines, headquartered at Narita Airport outside of Tokyo, currently operates a fleet of 11 747 freighter aircraft comprised of eight -8Fs and three -400Fs.
