Hop!, the regional subsidiary of Air France, has firmed up its order for five ATR72-600s from Danish lessor Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC).
The five aircraft will be introduced into Hop!’s 24-strong ATR fleet throughout this year, with the first of the aircraft delivered last Friday (April 10).
Hop! said the five 72-600s will gradually replace its fleet of 11 ATR 72-500s as part of a long-term fleet modernisation strategy.
Lionel Guerin, vice-president and senior executive of Hop!, said that by renewing its fleet, the airline hopes to provide more frequent and direct flights as well as better schedules and more competitive fares.
