IATA Adjusts Profit Guidance On China Fears

Airline trade body IATA has trimmed its industry profit forecast due to concerns about economic slowdown in China. IATA now predicts that airlines will make $18bn this year, down from the $18.7bn it estimated in March and the $19.7bn it forecast at the beginning of the year. Airline profit in 2013 totalled about $13bn.
