Japan Transocean Air Adds 737NGs

Japanese domestic carrier Japan Transocean Air (JTA) has ordered 12 737-800 aircraft from Boeing. Scheduled to enter service from 2016, these new aircraft will be powered by the CFM56-7 engine and will be fitted with Boeing's Performance Improvement Package (PIP), which delivers an additional two per cent improvement in fuel efficiency.
