LOT, Embraer Extend Parts Pool Agreement

The multi-year contract between the OEM’s services unit and the airline covers 34 Embraer E-Jets.

Embraer Services & Support, the aftermarket division of the Brazilian aircraft maker, has extended its component pool agreement with LOT Polish Airlines covering its fleet of 34 E-Jets.

The multi-year deal for Embraer’s component support solution includes on site stock for LOT along with an extended scope of engine line-replaceable units for the airline's E190/E195s.

Throughout the life of the program, Embraer will support LOT’s fleet of 18 E170/E175s and up to 16 Embraer E190/E195s. It also includes six additional E195s that LOT took on lease earlier this year from Nordic Aviation Capital which are already in operation. A further four new E190s will be in-service with LOT from January 2019.

“The support of the OEM is a natural fit and the best option to our fleet as it offers cost effective and practical solutions, guaranteeing efficiency and competitive results, allowing LOT to focus on aircraft operations,” said Maciej Wilk, the Warsaw-based airline’s COO.
